When I talk about adopting a healthy lifestyle the one thing I hear the most is: “Something gotta kill ya!”
Even though that is true, I didn’t change my lifestyle because I want to live forever, I changed it because I wanted a better quality of life.
That led me to lifestyle medicine and the creation of Lifestyle Medical Services Inc. I learnt firsthand the benefits of a healthy diet and exercise and I wanted to share this with my patients.
Medicine is more than writing prescriptions. I want to know more about my patient’s lives, what’s causing them stress, what their hobbies are, what makes them happy (hopefully it’s not just a pork chop! 😄).
